Konstantine Drakonakis, PE

Konstantine is an experienced early stage investor and operator focused on developing proprietary IMPACT technology companies. As an “Entrepreneurial Engineer,” he gravitates to technology companies within the hard-tech and climate-tech markets. He has led over 35 investments for LaunchCapital and the Pritzker Vlock Family Office (PVFO) to date and serves as a strategic advisor for many of his portfolio companies. He represents LaunchCapital and PVFO as a board member on the following portfolio companies: 6K, INC (where he was the founding Executive Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer), EpiEP, Biorez, TearSolutions, and Iridia. He is a founder of PCTRx, Inc, a platform cannabinoid active ingredients and products company, and PlazMod, Inc, a low temperature plasma deposition and etching equipment platform for advanced energy applications. 

Mr. Drakonakis was the Manager of New Technology Investments and Infrastructure Development at Connecticut Innovations and is now serving as the Managing Venture Partner for the State’s new $100M Climate-Tech Fund. Konstantine is actively involved in the incubation/inception stage of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and serves as an advisor to the Entrepreneurship Foundation and the Donaghue Foundation. He is also an Executive in Residence for the University of Connecticut and serves on the Board of Trustees. He is also an EIR and Instructor for Yale University.
