Sr. Vice President of Government Affairs

Mary Cronin has two decades of experience in local, state and federal government affairs. She serves as part of 6K’s overall commercial/strategy team, focused specifically on identifying government initiatives that provide a vehicle to expand its research and development and production opportunities across the Federal marketplace. Her former roles include managing director of Smith Dawson & Andrews, a federal government affairs firm in Washington, D.C., executive director of the Northeast Midwest Congressional Caucus on Capitol Hill, lobbyist for Fairfax County Public Schools and legislative director and campaign manager for an Assistant Majority Whip in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Most recently she built Strategy Hub, a Woman Owned Small Business offering consulting expertise across a variety of disciplines and industries. Mary has a Master of Global Business Administration from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, an MA in Strategic Security Studies/International Security from the College of International Security Affairs at the National Defense University, an MS in Public Affairs from the University of Massachusetts, McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies, and an BA from Saint Michael’s College.
