As Vice President of Finance & Controller, Sam KC leads 6K’s finance and accounting functions, overseeing financial planning, reporting, and cash management. His experience in scaling high-growth technology companies, public-company readiness, and capital planning supports 6K’s mission to commercialize sustainable advanced materials using its proprietary UniMelt® platform. Sam partners closely with the executive team to manage liquidity, support fundraising and strategic initiatives, and build the financial infrastructure required to scale domestic, secure, and sustainable manufacturing.
Sam comes to 6K with over 15 years of finance leadership experience across high-growth startups and publicly traded companies. He has played key roles in a SPAC IPO, a traditional IPO, multiple financing rounds, and complex multi-entity operations. Prior to 6K, Sam held senior finance roles at Desktop Metal, Digital Lumens, and A123Systems.
